Liquid Smoke and Hydrogel Membrane as Burn Wound Healing Properties
نویسندگان
چکیده
Background : Anyone has the potential to get injured, especially burns. Hydrogel membrane and liquid smoke are a combination of antibacterial, anti-inflammatory antioxidant properties. These properties play an important role in wound healing. In healing, re-epithelialization process is critical parameter for success closure.Aim Analyzed effect length on burns rats given hydrogel membrane. Methods Experimental research used post test only with control group design. The number samples was 15 white wistar which were divided into two treatment groups, namely P1 (liquid membrane), P2 smoke) one K (hydrogel membrane). Assessment reepithelialization been calculated using microscope. Statistical One Way ANOVA – Post Hoc Bonferroni test. Results average (µm) each (P1) 2004.91, (P2) 1534.15 (K) 1248.16. Based results analysis, we found p value = 0.028 (p <0.05). This shows that there significant differences data between groups. Conclusions There difference burn smoke, group.

Coconut Shell Liquid Smoke Promotes Burn Wound Healing
The aim of this study was to evaluate burn wound healing activity of coconut shell liquid smoke (CS-LS) in a burn wound animal model. Burn wound-induced mice were treated with CS-LS (CS-LS group), povidone iodine 10% (povidone group), or NaCl 0.9% (NaCl group). Application of CS-LS promoted wound contraction compared to that of the povidone and NaCl groups (P < .05). This study showed a positiv...
متن کاملBurn Wound Healing Outcomes
Development of metrics for burn care, including healing of skin wounds during the acute phase of treatment, is essential in an environment of decreasing resources and increasing interest in quality and accuracy of medical information. Advantages of consensus metrics include: tracking of trends in care; consistency of care; and correlation of treatment with medical outcomes. For cutaneous burn w...
متن کاملBurn wound healing properties of asiaticoside and madecassoside
The healing of burn wounds has been widely characterized to be highly intricate, involving processes such as neo-vascularization, granulation, re-epithelialization, inflammation and wound contraction. Various therapies are available for the management of burn wounds; however, a truly effective therapeutic strategy has yet to be identified due to safety issues. The aim of the present study was t...
متن کاملGelam (Melaleuca spp.) Honey-Based Hydrogel as Burn Wound Dressing
A novel cross-linked honey hydrogel dressing was developed by incorporating Malaysian honey into hydrogel dressing formulation, cross-linked and sterilized using electron beam irradiation (25 kGy). In this study, the physical properties of the prepared honey hydrogel and its wound healing efficacy on deep partial thickness burn wounds in rats were assessed. Skin samples were taken at 7, 14, 21,...
متن کاملeview ssessment of burn depth and burn wound healing
The depth of a burn wound and/or its healing potential are the most important determinants of the therapeutic management and of the residual morbidity or scarring. Traditionally, burn surgeons divide burns into superficial which heal by rapid re-epithelialization with minimal scarring and deep burns requiring surgical therapy. Clinical assessment remains the most frequent technique to measure t...
